Shepherd vs. Sloan? The hair… or that towel?


Yes, this was topical in 2007. Like The OC two years prior, Grey’s Anatomy in its prime was one of those cultural phenoms best watched in a group. Guilty pleasure plot lines aside, I applauded the equal-opportunity casting and enjoyed learning about bizarre but true medical cases. Before the plot became too implausible to follow, I used to watch the show in a friend’s dorm room or catch reruns on ABC Go (the network’s newly launched on-demand streaming service).


Apart from featuring the McDreamy vs. McSteamy debate, this cartoon was my imagined clash between fans of prime time soaps and the college hoops fans as they battled for control of the TV in the common areas of college houses and Greek houses across campus…
